- 素粒子物理学の標準理論と最先端の研究
- Standarad Model of Elementary Particle Physics and Current Forefront Researches
- 授業の目標・概要 (Course Objectives/Overview)
- 素粒子物理学の標準理論について、その確立に寄与した実験データを通して理解を深め、さらに標準理論を超えるより基本的な原理・法則を探る最先端の研究について学ぶ。
- Deepening understanding of the Standard Model (SM) of particle physics through the experimental data which helped to establish the SM, and learning the forefront researches which look for fundamental principles and laws beyond the SM.
- 授業の方法 (Teaching Methods)
- 板書、プロジェクタを用いて行う。適宜資料を配付する。資料等の配付にはウェブページも活用する。
- Using blackboard/projector as well as materials distributed through the web pages.
- 成績評価方法 (Method of Evaluation)
- 毎授業後に課す簡単なレポートと最終レポートによって評価を行う。
- Assigning homework after each lecture, and a final report at the end of the semester.
- 教科書、参考書 (Textbooks and Reference Books)
- 特になし(講義中に適宜参考文献を挙げる予定)。
- References may be given during the lectures when necessary.
- 履修上の注意 (Notes on Taking the Course)
- 素粒子物理学II相当の講義を予め履修していること。
- It is strongly recommended that the related basic lectures such as Particle Physics II or an equivalent course, have been taken in advance.
- 授業計画 (Schedule)
- 前半の講義において重要な実験結果を通して標準理論について理解し、後半では現行の最先端の研究を通して標準理論を超える新しい物理の可能性について学ぶ。
- The first half of the course deals with the SM through the related important experimental researches. The second half explores some new physics possibilities that go beyond the SM through the current forefront researches.
