Kyoto City Bus is operated by Kyoto city and covers whole Kyoto area.

Municipal Subway
Two subway lines, Karasuma line and Tozai line, are running in Kyoto.

Train lines
When you are going to Osaka or Kobe, following train lines are convenient.
- Keihan
- Running along Kamogawa river. Its closest station is 'Demachi Yanagi'. This line goes to central Osaka.
- Hankyu
- This line is convenient to go to north Osaka (Umeda) and Kobe. The closest station is 'Kawaramachi'
- JR Kyoto line
- JR West is the largest train network in Kansai area, covering Kyoto, Nara, Osaka and Kobe. The closest station is 'JR Kyoto' station.
- Kintetsu
- This line is convenient to go to Nara. The terminal 'Kintetsu Kyoto' locates at JR Kyoto station. The subway Karasuma line is connected to this line.
- JR Nara line
- Departing from 'JR Kyoto' station

Taxi
Taxis can be found on major streets. You can call a taxi by phone. Please contact the conference front desk.
The fee depends on the distance and time.
650JPY for the first 2,000m and 80JPY for every 339m exceed 2,000m for a medium size car (capable up to 5 passengers). 80JPY is additionally charged for every 125 seconds if the driving speed is less than 10km/h.
640JPY for the first 2,000m and 80JPY for every 385m exceed 2,000m for a compact car (capable up to 4 passengers). 80JPY is additionally charged for every 140 seconds if the driving speed is less than 10km/h.
