Welcome reception

Monday, 26 November

We are planning to do Kagami-biraki. Kagami-biraki is a Japanese traditional ceremony to crack open a wooden sake cask with wooden hammers. Needless to add, you can drink the sake in the cask after Kagami-biraki.

We will also have a special performance by Furisode-san.

Excursion and Workshop Dinner

Wednesday, 28 November

We will drive all around Tokyo metropolitan area and then stop off briefly in UMIHOTARU Parking Area on the way to Hotel Mikazuki. Let's enjoy Japanese style dinner.

16:30 Depart from venue

The bus will leave in front of the venue. We will pass through the Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line which is a bridge–tunnel combination across Tokyo Bay.

Short break, Umihotaru Parking Area

Umihotaru(literally meaning "sea firefly") is an artificial island at the bridge–tunnel crossover point, with a rest area consisting of restaurants, shops and amusement facilities.

19:00 Hotel Mikazuki

19:30 Dinner start

A full-course Japanese cuisine. If you have any requirement on diet, please let us know by e-mail in advance.

21:30 Leave for Tokyo

22:30 Downtown Tokyo

Bus will stop at Akihabara station and Ryogoku. Please step off a bus whichever is more convenient for you. From Akihabara station, you can take Yamanote Line, Keihin Tohoku Line, Chuo-Sobu Line, Tsukuba Express and Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. From Ryogoku station, you can take Chuo-Sobu Line and Toei Oedo Line.
