Abstract
"Experimental Search for mu-e Conversion on Nuclei: New Results from SINDRUM II and Future Prospects"

Observations on solar and atmospheric neutrinos indicate that neutrinos mix
so lepton flavor would not be conserved. SINDRUM II tests lepton-flavor
conservation by a search for mu-e conversion in muonic atoms. During the year
2000 the experiment reached a sensitivity of 2x1013 for conversion on gold.
Preliminary results will be presented.
