Dear participants, Here are few more information on your arrival to Tokyo. 1) Ueno Station -> University of Tokyo It is a bit complicated route, thus Junichi kindly added page 5 on how to reach Univ. of Tokyo from Ueno Station area. http://www.icepp.s.u-tokyo.ac.jp/hc2012/HC2012_map.pdf There should be ICEPP student standing at the entrance gate for this route on Sunday morning. To reach Tokyo from Narita International Airport, use JR Narita Express or Keisei Skyliner. You may need to change to JR-lines or Tokyo Metro to reach your hotel from major stations. Of course you can use taxi if you have heavy luggage, and it should not be very expensive. 2) Kyoto -> Tokyo For those who moving from HCP2012 (Kyoto) to HC2012 (Tokyo), we recommend to use Shinkansen train named "Nozomi" (literally means 'hope') from JR-Kyoto station. It might be crowded due to tourist season, thus recommend to buy the ticket with seat reservation (you should be able to use your credit card). It takes about 2 hours, and watch out left-hand side about one hour (?) before. If you are lucky you may watch Fuji mountain. Thus you may ask seat "E" (ABC's E) for the seat at most left-had side. After arriving Tokyo Station terminal by Shinkansen, you have to change to JR-lines or Tokyo metro to reach your hotel. Have a nice trip and see you quite soon in Tokyo. Best wishes, Junichi and Reisaburo
