Research outline

Our group is conducting (1) physical analysis of the LHC-ATLAS experiment and (2) tabletop (non-accelerator) particle physics experiments with Ishino Group, Tanaka Group, and Kawamoto Group of International Center for Elementary Particle Physics (ICEPP).

(1) LHC, the largest collider in the world, enables physicists to directly measure physical phenomena at TeV scale, to test the Standard Model of particle physics and to discover physics beyond the Standard Model. Our group is conducting physical analysis of new phenomena, such as Higgs boson, supersymmetric particles, and extra dimensions by using the ATLAS detector.

(2) We are conducting tabletop (non-accelerator) experiments to search for deviations from the Standard Model. Precision measurements can indirectly study the energy region where accelerators cannot reach.
